CM Mohan Yadav’s cabinet has been expanded in Madhya Pradesh today. CM had talked about cabinet expansion after meeting BJP President JP Nadda on Sunday itself. After this, today, the Governor has administered an oath to the newly elected ministers.
28 MLAs became cabinet ministers
The list of cabinet ministers includes 18 MLAs including Vijay Shah, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel, Rakesh Singh, Karan Singh Verma, Rao Uday Pratap Singh. At the same time, 6 leaders have been made Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and 4 have been made Ministers of State.
MP turned MLAs also become Ministers
BJP had given tickets to a total of 7 MPs and Union Ministers in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Patel, Udayrao Pratap Singh, Reeti Pathak, Rakesh Singh, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Ganesh Singh were fielded. 5 MPs won and 2 had to face defeat. The party has now made 3 MPs ministers. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been made the Speaker of the Assembly.

Minister of State (Independent Charge):
Dilip Jaiswal, Gautam Tetwal, Lakhan Patel, Krishna Gaur, Dharmendra Lodhi and Narayan Singh Pawar.
State Minister:
Radha Singh, Pratima Bagri, Dilip Ahirwar and Narendra Shivaji Patel
6 First Timer MLAs become Ministers
The party has also given a chance to first-time MLAs. Six MLAs who won for the first time got place in Yadav’s cabinet. Those who won for the first time are Prahlad Singh Patel, Rakesh Singh, Sampatia Uike, Narendra Patel, Pratima Bagri and Radha Singh. Along with this, three pro-Scindia MLAs have also been made ministers. Tulsi Silavat, Govind Singh Rajput and Pradyuman Singh Tomar are being considered as ministers of Scindia quota.
Big faces from Shivraj cabinet missing
Some big names who were ministers in the Shivraj government in the cabinet of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have not been included in the cabinet, which is a bit surprising. Bhupendra Singh, Gopal Bhargava, Visahu Lal Singh, Meena Singh, Usha Thakur, Brijendra Singh Yadav, Brijendra Pratap Singh and Hardeep Singh Dung, who were ministers in the Shivraj government, have not been included in the new cabinet.
