Congress’ Ashok Gehlot has accepted his government’s defeat in Rajasthan on Sunday during the assembly elections 2023. BJP has won 24 seats and are currently leading on 90 seats. A party needs 101 seats to form the government in the state.

Meanwhile, up until now, there was no confirmed Chief Minister candidate from the central government’s party. Individuals such as Diya Kumari, Vasundhara Raje, and Mahant Balak Nath are among the most likely to lead the state and swear-in as chief minister of the state.

However, Kumari and Raje can be seen avoiding journalist questioning about the chief minister post.

On being asked about her candidature for Chief Minister, in a conversation with India Today, Kumari said, “It is not about accepting it or not, party top leadership will decide that.”
