In view of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, all the parties including Congress and BJP are taking political targets at each other. Meanwhile, a video of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s son is going viral. Using the video as a political stunt, Congress has raised questions on the central government and the Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government in Madhya Pradesh.
Congress party’s Chairperson of Social Media and Digital Platforms, Supriya Shrinate addressed a press conference at party’s office in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh over alleged viral video of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s son talking about transactions worth crores.
“A video of Devendra Tomar, son of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar ji is going viral. In this video Devendra Tomar is talking about a transaction of a huge amount. It is ironical that BJP has come out with a song today itself, which is on the lines of washing powder Nirma. Many BJP leaders like Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Narayan Rane and Reddy Brothers have bathed in this Nirma powder. This song of BJP is exposing the Shivraj government with 50% commission,” said Shrinate.

“In this video, Narendra Singh Tomar’s son Devendra Singh Tomar is talking about transactions worth crores of rupees. There is a discussion on where bank accounts should be opened to collect crores of rupees from mining businessmen,” alleged Supriya Shrinate.
“Remember, Narendra Singh Tomar ji has also been the Steel and Mining Minister in the Modi government. In such a situation, the question is — Whose money is this, and why is he giving it to Devendra Singh Tomar?,” asked Supriya Shrinate.

Over this issue, the Congress party has raised their five demands as follow:
- Election Commission should take immediate action on the matter,
- Narendra Tomar should resign till the investigation is done,
- ED investigation should be done by registering a case of money laundering,
- PM, HM, CM break silence, and
- Devendra Tomar should be arrested.
Meanwhile, after the video went viral, Union Minister’s son Devendra Singh Tomar has lodged an FIR against unknown people in the matter. He has alleged that an attempt is being made to tarnish his image by hatching a conspiracy against him.
