On Monday, the Congress party announced its ‘Guarantee Yatra’ in the state and has nominated seven in-charges and three co-ordinators for the same. The aim of this yatra is the promotion of seven ‘guarantees’ promised by the party for the upcoming state assembly elections in the state.

Among the seven in-charges nominated by the Congress in-charge for Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is — Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi (Udaipur), Sachin Pilot (Ajmer), Harish Chaudhary (Jodhpur), Govind Ram Meghwal (Bikaner), Bhanwar Jitendra Singh (Jaipur), Mohan Prakash (Bharatpur) and Pramod Jain Bhaya (Anta).

Sharing the names of appointed in-charges for the yatra, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa wrote on X, “Congress party’s 7 guarantees are getting tremendous support from the people of Rajasthan. Under ‘Congress Guarantee Yatra’, 7 in-charges and 3 coordinators have been nominated to take 7 guarantees to every household in the state. Best wishes to all of you. We are confident that with all your hard work you will play an important role in making these guarantees of Congress successful by reaching every village and hamlet.”

Replying to Randhawa, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said: “‘Congress Guarantee Yatra’ is being started to extend the benefits of Congress guarantees to every person in Rajasthan. Best wishes to all the nominated in-charges and coordinators for making the yatra successful. Our aim is that every village and town of Rajasthan should benefit from these guarantees.”

Similarly, All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretaries Qazi Nizamuddin, Virendra Singh Rathore and Amrita Dhawan will work as coordinators in their respective areas.

It is noteworthy that CM Gehlot has announced to give seven ‘guarantees’ if the Congress government is formed again in the state, which includes giving free laptops to government college students and providing education in English medium to every student.
