On Tuesday, Delhi Minister Atishi addressed a press conference at Aam Aadmi Party’s office, where she made a big claim by saying that ED will arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 2 after interrogation. After the notice issued by ED to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in the alleged excise scam of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is afraid of Kejriwal’s arrest.
“Today, Prime Minister Modi and BJP are bent upon destroying AAP. There is news from all sides that AAP convenor and Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested on 2nd November. This arrest will happen because Modi ji is afraid of Arvind Kejriwal. They know that there is one popular leader who speaks openly against Modi ji, and that is Arvind Kejriwal,” said Atishi.
“BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi had threatened an opposition leader in the Parliament itself that your number is to be sent to jail by ED. How do they know what investigation ED-CBI is doing?,” asked Atishi.
“PMLA is such a weapon in the hands of ED that can put anyone in jail without any evidence. Therefore, even after the Supreme Court dismissed all the charges in yesterday’s order, Manish ji did not get bail,” said Atishi.
Apart from Kejriwal, Minister Atishi also expressed the possibility of arrest of other opposition leaders. He said that this arrest is not going to end only with the Aam Aadmi Party. After this, leaders of other opposition parties will also be arrested in the same manner. Other leaders like Hemant Soren, Tejashwi Yadav, MK Stalin and Pinarayi Vijayan can also get arrested because BJP is not able to defeat their party in the elections.
