Ahead of the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a ‘Vijay Sankalp Maharally‘ in Thelkadih, Chhattisgarh on Sunday. While addressing the rally, JP Nadda lashed out at CM Bhupesh Baghel and Congress party, and alleged that the state government is indulged in corruption. Nadda also counted several corruption cases.

Addressing the rally, in Thelkadih of Dongargarh Assembly of Chhattisgarh, JP Nadda said: “Chhattisgarh has been affected by eclipse for the last 5 years. Bhupesh Baghel’s government is deeply immersed in corruption. This is a deceitful government, it has not fulfilled even a single promise. Congress only cares about itself, while BJP serves the people.”

“Congress party never thought about the people. They thought about themselves and their family members. Congress cannot count even a single development work in Chhattisgarh, here only BJP has done development work,” added Nadda.

Praising the Modi government at the Centre, JP Nadda said that the central government sanctioned 14 lakh houses for Chhattisgarh, but CM Bhupesh Baghel did not allow 12 lakh houses to be built.

“BJP is a government of report card. Whatever we say, we do. Modi ji decided to build 4 crore houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, out of which 3.5 crore houses were built. In Chhattisgarh too, more than 14 lakh houses were sanctioned, but the Bhupesh Baghel government did not allow 12 lakh houses to be built,” claimed JP Nadda.

By sharing the glimpses from today’s rally in in Thelkadih, BJP chief JP Nadda wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter): “Addressed the ‘Vijay Sankalp Maharally’ organized in Dongargarh Assembly of Chhattisgarh today. The Congress government of Chhattisgarh is a government of scams. Big scams like liquor scam, rice scam, Gothan scam, coal scam, sand scam, transfer-posting scam, scam in purchasing sarees of Anganwadi sisters make the policy and intentions of this government clear. The people of the state have resolved to uproot this corrupt and promise-breaking government and form the Bharatiya Janata Party government.”

JP Nadda also claimed in the rally that India’s economy is growing under the Modi government and extreme poverty has also been reduced. “Today, India has become the 5th largest economy by surpassing Britain. Even when the economy of the entire world has faltered, India’s economy is growing rapidly. Similarly, today, extreme poverty has reduced to less than one percent in India,” said JP Nadda.

Polling In Chhattisgarh is scheduled to held on 7 and 17 November (in two phases) for 90-member state assembly.
