Bhairavi Vaidya, a veteran cinema and television actress, died on October 8. She was 67 years old at the time. Her professional career lasted 45 years. Bhairavi has been battling cancer for the last six months.

‘Nima Denzongpa’ was one of her most recent efforts. Surabhi Das, her show co-star, mourned her death, telling a top Indian entertainment portal, “I am so upset and saddened by the news of her passing away. I shared great times with her on sets.”

Bhairavi Vaidya rose to prominence in Gujarati and Hindi films. Her latest role in the TV show ‘Nima Denzongpa’ garnered her a lot of attention. She has also appeared in shows such as ‘Hasratein’ and ‘Mahisagar’.

She made her Bollywood debut with Taal, a film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She also performed an important role in the Bollywood film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke,’ starring Salman Khan.

Pratik Gandhi, who shared the screen space with her in the film, Ventilator, shared, “I got an opportunity to work with her in the film Ventilator. We had a good bonding. She was very affectionate. I had seen her perform on stage and on television as a child. I always admired her performance. I can not forget her smiling face.”
