Aditi Ashok wins a silver, becoming the first Indian woman to bring home a medal in golf at the 2023 Asian Games. Thailand took away the gold, while the Republic of Korea bagged third place. Aditi played brilliantly in the first three rounds on Saturday to take a huge leap into the final round by staying at the top of the leaderboard.
However, the women’s golf team of India came in fourth at the team event in Hangzhou in 2023. The Indian men’s golfers had a disappointing Asian Games in 2023.
