Not everybody is competent to understand English and Hindi, but many still like to be updated on what’s happening in their country. To cater to the needs of such people, Sandeep Singh has launched a local language news discovery app ‘Khabriya’.

The app, which was launched on August 8, has received only positive reviews so far. One can download it from Google play store and get notified about every news – big or small.

Once the download is done, the user can select their preferred language. Besides Hindi and English, Khabriya provides latest news in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi, Bangla, Gujarati, Urdu, Oriya, Punjabi, Asamiya and Nepali from 100+ most read and reliable publishers of India.

The app covers every beat including sports, Bollywood, politics, business, technology, nation, entertainment, education, and the list goes on. Apart from the articles, you can binge on the viral videos and keep track of the cricket scores.

Speaking of designing this immensely helpful app, Sandeep says, “It’s important for each one of us to be aware of the day-to-day happenings, however, the language barrier makes it difficult for many people. This issue had to be solved in order to bring our country together for betterment. You know, awareness is the first step towards change. Following this thought, I decided to design Khabriya – a multi-language news app.”
