The prestigious music awards kicked off today (September 13) at Newark’s Prudential Center and honour some of music’s biggest names, including pop giants like Taylor Swift and K-pop sensations like TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT). As the night progresses, the list of winners grows longer, with first-time winners and VMA veterans alike walking away with Moon Man in hand.

The winners of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are here.

BTS’ Jungkook grabbed his first VMA award for Song of the Summer with ‘SEVEN’, while fellow BIGHIT MUSIC act TXT walked away with the PUSH Performance of the Year award for their viral smash ‘Sugar Rush Ride’. Stray Kids also received their first VMA award for Best K-pop.

BLACKPINK extends its reign as one of the most popular female groups in the world by winning Group of the Year.

Taylor Swift has won the most awards so far, including Best Pop, Video of the Year, and Song of the Year for her Midnights tune ‘Anti-Hero.’ While SZA won Best R&B for ‘Shirt,’ Nicki Minaj won Best Hip-Hop for ‘Super Freaky Girl.’
