Zareen Khan has been admitted to the hospital with dengue fever. The actress turned to her official Instagram account to inform fans and followers on her condition.
The Veer actress uploaded a selfie of herself receiving IV fluids in the hospital, but she did not expose her face. Zareen captioned the photo, “#LifeUpdate.”
It should be noted that dengue fever cases are on the rise in Mumbai. The city’s health department reported 157 dengue cases in the first week of August 2023. It has already risen to 317 people until August 13.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 finalist, Abhishek Malhan was also ill recently owing to dengue fever. As his condition deteriorated, Abhishek, aka Fukra Insaan, also missed the popular reality show’s grand finale episode.
Zareen, who made her dream debut in 2010 alongside Salman Khan in the film Veer, is quite active on Instagram and frequently shares photographs and videos to keep her followers entertained.
Zareen has appeared in films such as Wajah Tum Ho, Housefull 2, Ready, Veerappan, Aksar 2, and 1921, among others. She was most recently seen in the film Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele and the music video Eid Ho Jayegi, both of which were released in 2022.
The actress has not confirmed any upcoming projects.
