Hrithik Roshan unveiled the first-look poster for his character in his next flick Fighter in June. Fighter motion poster providing first views at the lead characters of the action film Fighter was launched on Tuesday, July 4th. Hrithik and Deepika Padukone feature as the key roles of Siddharth Anand’s Fighter.
The Fighter motion poster begins with a few fighter aircraft flying through the air, followed by scenes of an Air Force base. Finally, Hrithik Roshan appears, who will play a fighter pilot in the action picture.
Hrithik shared the motion poster for the film, which stars him, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, on Twitter or X, writing, “Spirit of Fighter | Vande Mataram! On the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day, we want to see you at the theatres. Fighter will be released worldwide on January 25, 2024.” Deepika and Anil were both dressed in uniform and wore black sunglasses, similar to Hrithik in the teaser.
“Now this is what you call goosebumps,” wrote a person on X in reaction to the teaser shared by Hrithik. Another one said, “Cannot wait for Republic Day 2024 now!” One more said about Deepika’s look, “Fierce and so, so cool.” A person also said, “Oooh, the men in uniform look dashing!”
In the picture shared on Instagram on June 26, Hrithik was seen in a pilot’s gear, standing in an airfield with his back towards the camera. A fighter jet was also seen in the frame. Hrithik looked at the jet with his hand resting on it. He wrote in his caption, “Fighter 25 January 2024… 7 months to Fighter.”
Hrithik has worked on his figure in order to fit into his role in the film. On Instagram, the actor has been posting videos and photos of his voyage. Earlier this year, the actor posted a video of himself working out in the gym and stated, “My friend and trainer Kris Gethin journey back to his home in the US tom. With still 10 weeks more to go for the completion of our 2nd phase, and 6 months of intense hard work already behind us, I could not have been more satisfied, more charged, more driven and more at peace with the process than I am right now at this very moment. And that process by the way has very little to do with muscle and more to do with the heart and mind…”
The film will be released in January 2021. Fighter was supposed to be released in theatres in September 2022. However, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, pre-production was delayed.
Deepika and Hrithik are partnered opposite each other for the first time in this film. Hrithik previously collaborated with Siddharth in the film War, opposite Tiger Shroff. Hrithik was most recently seen in Vikram Vedha. Deepika was most recently seen in Pathaan, the year’s biggest hit so far.
