The tragic death of Euphoria star Angus Cloud has shocked the entertainment industry. He was 25 at the time.
The actor’s family confirmed the information in a statement released on Monday. The actor played HBO’s popular series’ fan favourite Fezco O’Neill.On the teen drama, Cloud played drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill. He passed away on Monday at his family’s Oakland, California, home.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” said the Cloud family.Cloud attended his father’s funeral in Ireland last week and, according to his family, “intensely struggled with this loss”.There was some comfort in knowing he was now “reunited with his dad, who was his best friend”, they said in a statement.”Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” it said.
“We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone.”His cause of death has not been given.”We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. Cloud has small playing roles in the films The Line and North Hollywood. Additionally, he had participated in music videos for musicians including Juice WRLD, Karol G, and Becky G.But after he was cast as Fez, a high school drug dealer in Euphoria, his career truly took off.
