According to a source who confirmed the news to TMZ, Grammy-winning American singer Tori Kelly is in the hospital getting treatment for blood clots that are surrounding several of her vital organs.

The Grammy-winning musician’s heart started racing on Sunday night as she was out to dinner with friends in downtown Los Angeles, according to individuals close to her. Tori apparently fell asleep and was unconscious for some time.

According to TMZ, Tori’s friends pulled her outside, piled her into a car, and sped to Cedars-Sinai, one of the nation’s best hospitals, instead of dialling an ambulance to ensure she wasn’t taken to a hospital downtown.

According to a source in the ICU, doctors found clots in Tori’s legs and lungs and are currently attempting to determine if any clots are close to her heart. The singer has been in and out of consciousness while in the hospital.

Kelly has released “Missin u,” her debut new track as a solo artist. Before breaking into the industry with her acoustic versions on YouTube and a run on “American Idol” in 2010, Kelly first gained notoriety as a youngster on a number of TV competition shows. Although she didn’t make it into the Top 24 on American Idol, she rapidly launched a successful pop career and released her debut album, “Unbreakable Smile,” in 2015.

She achieved fame with the songs “Nobody Love” and “Should’ve Been Us,” and in 2019 she was nominated for two Grammys.
