Kiara Advani, who married Sidharth Malhotra in February 2023, recently revealed how she surprised her mother-in-law. In a recent interview, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress discussed Sidharth’s mother Rimmi Malhotra and her fondness of pani puri.
Kiara stated at her wedding that she had a pani puri stall and that Sidharth’s mother enjoys the iconic Indian delicacy.
“Meri mother-in-law ko pani puri itna pasand hai! Woh abhi humare saath reh rahi hain, Mumbai mein aayi hui hain Delhi se. So, on her first day, mujhe pata hai ki unko pani puri kitna pasand hai, I said aaj ghar mein hum pani puri banayenge. Jo maska lagaya… I knew she will love me to another level. She was so happy,” Kiara said in an interview.
On February 7, Sidharth and Kiara married in Rajasthan. The couple married in front of their closest friends and family members in a grand yet personal ceremony.
After returning to Mumbai, Sidharth and Kiara hosted a grand party for their film business pals.
Before getting married, the pair dated for several years. They apparently met on the set of their critically acclaimed film Shershaah. They were, nevertheless, tight-lipped about their affair.
Kiara recently re-teamed with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan for Satyaprem Ki Katha. On June 29, the love epic was launched in theatres.
She will also appear in Game Changer alongside RRR actor Ram Charan.
Sidharth, on the other hand, will be seen in Karan Johar’s Yodha alongside Disha Patani. He will also appear with Shilpa Shetty Kundra in Rohit Shetty’s online series Indian Police Force.
