Rhea Chakraborty, who plays one of the gang leaders in Roadies 19, talked out about how people labelled her following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. During an episode of Roadies 19 – Karm Ya Kaand, she discussed her prior struggles.
After a brief hiatus, she returned with this show. In a recent show, Rhea sympathised with Shully Nadar, an athlete contestant who discussed colorism. She also discussed how she dealt with one of the most difficult periods of her life.
People said a lot about Rhea, but she never accepted those labels since she can’t stop worrying about what people say about her.
The actress says no to anyone directing her life and adds, “Many people will say many stuffs. I have been labelled with several names, and many things have been said about me.But, will I take them? Kya main inke kaaran apni life me rukungi? Bilkul nahi…Let them go! Kaun Hain Woh?“
When the contestant came out about her violent relationship and the challenges she faced because of her dark skin colour, gang leaders were moved to tears.
At that time, Rhea inspired her saying, “Nothing is wrong with your colour, you are really strong and beautiful. You deserve better things in life and jo bhi aapke saath hua woh unki galti hai, aapki nahi.”
In terms of her professional career, the actress most recently acted in Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Chehre’ in 2021. Following Sushant Singh’s death in 2020, she was arrested in a drug case and imprisoned for 28 days. Her first project following her detention and release is Roadies 19.
