Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 premiered on June 24, 2023, with Cyrus Broacha demonstrating his power through weightlifting, while Akanksha Puri expressed her discomfort and unpleasant feelings on television. The housemates had some light banter, with Jad Hadid pleading with Bigg Boss to release Akanksha from jail.
Meanwhile, Jiya Shankar and Palak Puraswani mocked Bebika Dhurve’s unusual workout programme. Later, when Palak questioned why he nominated her, she and Avinash Sachdeva got into a heated dispute. The housemates intervened to defuse the conflict, and Falaq Naaz backed Avinash, noting that he had been clear about his position since day one.
Bebika confided in Manisha Rani about her views concerning Abhishek Malhan’s dissatisfaction as night fell. She was irritated by the contestants’ refusal to acknowledge her face-reading abilities.
Jiya and Jad were flirting, which caused some talk between Manisha and Bebika. Bebika accused Jiya of being jealous and wanting Jad’s attention because she envied Akanksha.
In another part of the house, Aaliya Siddiqui, Jiya, and others talked about how they saw Pooja Bhatt as a domineering character who desired control over the participants.
Back on the main stage, Salman Khan stated that he has sent a special gift into the house in the form of Manisha Paul, the popular host of “Rafuchakkar.”
The housemates were overjoyed to see him and were looking forward to his work. Manisha instructed the competitors to give each other titles based on specified phrases. The resulting titles elicited both amusement and tension among the roommates.
The task continued as Falaq playfully named Cyrus “Kaamchori Mera Naam,” highlighting his lack of enthusiasm for household chores. Jad chose Jiya for the title “I, Me, Myself,” commending her for unapologetically being herself.
Aaliya assigned the title “Nautanki Mera Naam” to Bebika, who gladly accepted it despite Aaliya’s negative comments.
Manisha bestowed the title “Mein Jhooti! Mein Makkar!” to Akanksha in response to her abrupt shift in demeanour. Palak jokingly labelled herself “Thugna Mera Kaam Hai” and gave the moniker to Pooja, who took it gladly.
Abhishek mockingly referred to Cyrus and Pooja as “Nakli Rani Sasta Raja” and bestowed upon himself the title “Mujhe Gand Pasand Hai” bestowed to him by Bebika. Manisha was dubbed a “Full Idiot” by Avinash, and Pooja was dubbed “Footage Ki Deewani.”
During the exercise, Bebika voiced her sadness to Manisha about not being able to recite a shayri in front of him. Falaq calmed Bebika, emphasising their link and the importance of remaining united in the face of other housemates’ attempts to create strife. Encouragement and emotional support were offered, reaffirming their resolve to fight together.
Salman returned to the platform and addressed the crowd, stressing the presence of several housemates who continued to play the diplomatic card. Salman interacted with the roommates, urging them to divulge the titles they had bestowed upon themselves. Abhishek defended his decision to bestow the title “Nakli Rani” on Pooja, citing claims of bias.
Salman reminded Palak of the significance of providing her best effort after she acknowledged to labelling Pooja biassed. Salman gave new titles on the housemates while delivering analysis and entertainment to the Indian audience. He questioned Abhishek’s apathy and reminded him of Manisha’s counsel to restore damaged relationships.
