Bigg Boss OTT 2 premiered on June 22, 2023, with the housemates waking up to the upbeat track “Zingat.” The contestants who were already awake wasted no time in swaying to the beats.
The contagious enthusiasm quickly spread, and the entire yard was transformed into a dance floor. Jad Hadid, on the other hand, seemed a little slow to get up and joined in the fun later.
Cyrus Broacha, Avinash Sachdeva, and Falaq Naaz sat with Bebika Dhurve. They had a fun talk, and their jokes and laughing boosted Bebika up as they encouraged and cheered her on.
When Avinash discovered that someone had carelessly placed their stuff on top of his bag, he was pushed to his limits.
Frustrated with the lack of accountability, he released his rage by smashing the offending objects. The occurrence heightened tensions within the household because no one admitted to losing the items.
Bebika advised Manisha Rani to use Avinash as a prop in order to make Jad envious. She, however, opposes the notion because she does not get along with Avinash.
Bigg Boss introduced the BB Jail, a new portion of the house, in an unexpected twist. Bigg Boss urged the housemates to vote on someone they thought was “fake.”
Furthermore, the viewers, known as the Janta, were voting at the same time. If their thoughts were identical, the BB Currency would double; if they disagreed, the currency would be reset to zero.
During a casual conversation, Jad mockingly referred to Manisha as “pagla” (crazy). Avinash, on the other hand, took offence and got into a furious confrontation with Jad. Despite the tensions, Jad explained that he did not believe Manisha and Bebika to be phoney, implying that they were simply acting in specific ways as part of the game.
Bebika and Akanksha were selected by the majority to be transported to the BB Jail. Meanwhile, Manisha told Jad about her reaction to the “pagla” remark.
To everyone’s amazement, Falaq was given the authority to pick a third contender she deemed fraudulent, and she chose Aaliya Siddiqui. As a result, Bebika, Akanksha, and Aaliya were imprisoned.
Pooja Bhatt sparked debate when she stated that Manisha was wiser than Jiya and Palak combined.
Palak tried to refute Pooja’s statement, but Pooja cut her off, emphasising that she should not think of herself as superior to others. Palak was overcome with emotion and sought relief from Jiya, who sympathised with her.
Pooja approached Avinash and Manisha later in the day, hoping to mend their issues. She pushed them to have a productive talk and work out their differences. As night fell, Manisha approached Jad and shared a poignant moment in which she admired his courage in embracing new experiences.
Inside the jail, tensions between Bebika and the other inmates grew, resulting in arguments. The conflicts were fuelled by Bebika’s exclusionary attitudes and a comment from Pooja. When left alone, Palak burst into tears, while Jiya comforted and supported her. They talked about Pooja’s analogy and expressed their dissatisfaction with her approach. As the programme came to a close, Bigg Boss surprised the competitors by giving them rations for the following two days.
