On Sunday night, singer Bebe Rexha was carried off stage when a phone struck her in the head during a concert in New York.

Disturbing concert footage captured by Alex Chavez shows a phone erupting from the audience and striking Rexha in the face, causing her to collapse on her knees to the stage floor. Crew members can be seen racing out to assist her.

As part of her “Best F’n Night of My Life” tour, Rexha performed at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York. The incident was reported to New York Police, and a preliminary inquiry “determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone” at Rexha. He was arrested on the spot, while Rexha was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

“This is Bebe Rexha being rushed out of the concert venue here in NYC after someone threw a fucking phone and hit her face as she was leaving the stage. We were all having a hell of a good time and so was Bebe, we were all having a blast, I mean who would even do that??? We hope you’re ok,” Bernaud tweeted.

Rexha was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of best new artist in 2018. Her new album “Bebe” came out earlier this year. “I’m Good (Blue),” a collaboration with David Guetta and one of Rexha’s biggest singles, was included on the album.
