She welcomed her first child with Ranbir Kapoor in November 2022, thus she has her hands full with mother duties in her personal life.
According to sources, Alia is preparing for yet another project, which may be the biggest movie of her career. According to reports, Alia has been cast as Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram in the famed director Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayan movie.
But first, Alia will soon make her Hollywood debut in the movie “Heart of Stone,” starring Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot, for which she travelled to Brazil to attend the Netflix Tudum event.
Although Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan has not yet received an official announcement, there is strong word that the producers have already cast the film and have agreed to terms.
Fans are confident that the claims regarding the magnum opus are accurate because Alia was recently seen at Tiwari’s office in Mumbai, further confirming the news.
In the early hours of Thursday, Alia was seen taking a flight to Brazil and was met by paparazzi at the Mumbai airport. The actress was then addressed as “Sita,” and Alia was seen covering her face and suppressing a smile.

She did not confirm or refute the rumours, but her response was sufficient to reassure her admirers that she will appear as Sita in the upcoming Ramayan-based movie.
While it was reported that Alia will play Sita and Ranbir Kapoor would play Lord Ram, a number of websites also claimed that Yash, of “KGF” fame, had been cast to play the demon king Ravan.
According to insiders with knowledge of the project, the movie would feature some never-before-seen special effects and will be unlike anything Bollywood has seen on a big screen before.
Reports about Tiwari’s Ramayan surface just before the release of Om Raut’s “Adipurush,” which is also a retelling of the Ramayan.
Prabhas portrays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon portrays Sita, while Saif Ali Khan plays Ravan in the film “Adipurush.” After revising the visuals after receiving harsh criticism for its subpar VFX when the teaser was published last year, the producers are now preparing to premiere the movie in theatres on Friday, June 16.
