5 Seconds of Summer is a huge hit with their fans, and with guitarist Michael Clifford and his wife Crystal Leigh announcing their baby, they can’t help but feel emotional. The couple shared images from their pregnancy photoshoot on Instagram, prompting a flood of well-wishes and congratulations.
The 27-year-old captioned the photos, “you’re already everything [emotional face emoji] baby clifford 11/11/23 [white heart emoji].” Clifford told People of his first impressions, “I’m filled with excitement and also with nerves.” I’ve been a dog dad for a long time, and I think I’m ready for a small human to care for and converse with after eight years of one-sided dog conversations!”
The couple began dating in 2016 and married in Bali in 2019. Clifford and Leigh married in January 2021 and announced it a year later, on their first wedding anniversary. They have two dogs, South and Moose, and have been dog parents for many years. They will have their first kid in November 2023.
