Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first well-known figures to comment after Elon Musk’s Twitter removed “Blue Ticks” from famous people’s verified accounts.
As per the sources, Elon Musk provides complimentary Twitter Blue subscriptions to a number of famous people in order to maintain their blue ticks. Musk said, “I am personally paying for a few.” “Just LeBron James, Stephen King, and William Shatner,” he remarked.
Among the 4 lakh people who lost their Twitter blue ticks on Friday were Priyanka Chopra, Virat Kohli, Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, and Shah Rukh Khan. Big B has turned to Twitter to request his blue tick back after having already paid for it.

In a humorous tweet, Amitabh Bachchan requested that Twitter and Elon Musk restore the blue tick in his trademark desi manner. “Ae Twitter bhaiya!” it read in his tweet.
“Sun rahe hain To o jo neel kamal hata rahe na, hamar naam ke aage, o wapas lagai de bhaiya, taki log jaan jaye ki hum hi hain—Amitabh Bachchan—hath to jod liye rahe hum! “Ab ka Godwa jode padi ka?”
The tweet means, “Do you hear me?” I have already paid the cost as well, so please restore the blue tick so that everyone can identify me as Amitabh Bachchan. “I have already folded my hands, do I also need to join my feet as well?”
Months before it was officially deleted from Twitter, Elon Musk announced the deadline to force people to sign up for Twitter Blue, his paid subscription service. In India, it costs Rs 900 per month (or Rs 9,400 annually) to become Blue Verified.
Many Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and athletes Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar, lost their blue ticks. The list also includes Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress.
