The morning of 20th April became mournful for B- town as the news of Pamela Chopra’s untimely demise spread all over the internet. Almost entire Bollywood has reached Chopra house to express their condolences. Playback singer and screenwriter Pamela Chopra is the wife of late filmmaker Yash Chopra and mother for YRF head Aditya Chopra and actor Uday Chopra. She was last seen in Netflix’s documentary series The Romantics. At the age of 74 Pamela died, as per some reports she was suffering from some age related illness. The family asked for some privacy in this moment of grief.
As per the reports Pamela was diagnosed with Pneumonia and was admitted in City Hospital for last 15 days. On Thursday morning she took her last breath. An official statement was released by Yas Raj Films on their Twitter handle saying, “With heavy hearts, The Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning… We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection.”

Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt shared tweet expressing their grief. According to some source Salman Khan cancelled the celebrity screening of his film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” as a sign of respect.
