Aaron Carter was an American singer and rapper who passed away at the age of 34 on 5th November 2022 due to an accident. The reason for his death was not known initially but after five months the cause has been understood.
On 18th April, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner showcased the results from Aaron’s autopsy reports and which says that the singer drowned in the bathtub after the intake of compressed gas and alprazolam which is a generic form of Xanax, is also used to cure anxiety. Accidental drowning is ruled out as the reason for his death.
Although, some of Aaron’s close ones do not believe the autopsy reports to be the ultimate truth. His fiancé said, “It claims death by drowning but also adds he was wearing a T-shirt and necklace in the bathtub which doesn’t make sense, why would he be in a bathtub with clothes on? I am still in shock and still miss Aaron every day. I don’t understand the chain of events and this report only has us asking more questions.”
The singer was found dead in the bathtub at his house in California. According to Carter’s ex-fiancé Melanie Martin and his Mother Jane Carter, “There was no water found in Aaron’s lungs.” said TMZ. Aaron’s body was discovered by his housemate who immediately called for help.
After Aaron’s death, his brother Nick who is a member of the Backstreet Boys shared a post on Instagram with a heartfelt caption writing, “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed.
Sometimes we want to blame ourselves or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….God, Please take care of my baby brother.”
