Good news for all the fans as the most iconic love story of the year starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh will release on Disney+Hotstar from 28th April onwards. The announcement was made on Thursday by the streaming platform via their Twitter account.

Ved is a Marathi language movie, directed by Riteish Deshmukh and produced by Genelia Deshmukh. Both the actors are also the main leads of the film. This love drama embarks Riteish’s debut into Marathi film Industry. The movie was initially released in theatres on 30th December 2022. It is the remake of the Telugu film, Majili released in 2019.
The story revolves around Satya, a normal fellow who dreams of playing cricket and representing team India one day. Although his dream is crushed when his team members accuse him of the wrong ethics and due to the drastic course of events he is even separated from his childhood love, Nisha.
In this uncertain situation, Shravani decides to marry him. Satya never gets over his first love and cricket and starts drinking regularly. But his life will take a new turn when he gets assigned to the job of coach. The film showcases the challenges and difficulties that we encounter in our lives and how love can play a crucial role in overpowering all the negativity.
The film has received great reviews from critics and was highly appreciated by the audience. It also became the Marathi film with the highest Box Office collection in 2022 and also the third highest-grossing Marathi movie of all time.
