Match number 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will see Delhi Capitals facing off against Mumbai Indians. Both teams have yet to secure a victory in IPL 2023, with DC losing all three games played so far and MI suffering defeats at the hands of RCB and CSK in their two matches.
The top-order batsmen of Delhi have not performed well in the tournament thus far, and as per reports, Delhi Capitals will give an IPL debut cap to Yash Dhull for their match against MI. Yash Dhull is a former India U-19 captain who led the team to victory in the World Cup last year and also leads Delhi in domestic cricket after making his debut last year. Despite this, he has not played in the IPL until now, but he will get the chance to play in his first IPL match on Tuesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, his home ground. It is yet to be determined who he will replace, whether it will be Prithvi Shaw, who has struggled in the first three matches, or Manish Pandey, a seasoned veteran who made his DC debut in the last match but was dismissed for a duck.
