One of the highest-paid actresses in the South Indian Entertainment Industry, the 35-year-old actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is praised by netizens for her reply to a tweet.
On Sunday, April 9, 2023, the Actress responded to a Twitter user, who asked her how she manages to get so many things done, despite having a lot of issues in her life.
The user tweeted, “Dude, where do you get your strength from….how do you keep on going strong despite so many f*****s happening”.
In Response, the Pushpa actress replied, “Because this is not how my story will end(blushing emoji). I decide (heart emoticon).”
These days, Samantha is occupied doing promotions for her upcoming mythological Telugu film, “Shaakuntalam”.
The movie is based on the Sanskrit Epic by Kalidaas about the love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant.
The movie is set to hit the theatres on April 14, 2023.
During one of the promotional events, The Actress revealed that she had turned the role of Shakuntala down initially because she felt that Shakuntala is the “symbol of perfection”, which is why she was not confident enough to take the role.
She said, “I had first said no because was doing “ The Family Man 2”, in which I had a real role. Since childhood, Disney has been my favourite genre. Irrespective of whether I am happy or sad, I would watch Disney films. So I did not have confidence that I could play Shakuntala, a princess, a symbol of perfection.
She continued, “I was scared. As you see, in the last three years, I have been taking on a lot of challenges. Then I spoke to the producer, Dil Raju, who had a lot of confidence in me”.
The actress revealed that she is also suffering from an autoimmune health condition, Myositis.
