Saturday night new mummy Alia Bhatt was captured along with her mother Soni Razdan and her older sister Shaheen Bhatt on a movie date. The trio watched the recent release Rani Mukherjee starrer film ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.’ The Bollywood diva took her social media handle on Sunday to share her feelings after watching the movie. The actress has mentioned that she cried during the film, and as she is also a mother the movie has created a bigger impact on her.
Sharing a post on her Instagram stories, Alia wrote, “Saturday night was soent in tears with my mom and sister as we watched our favorite – the brilliant Rani Mukherjee. Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway is such an important story to tell. For me, especially as a new mother, it hit so much harder and so much closer to home. Rani ma’am – there’s no one like you!”. Alia attended the movie screening with her mom Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt.
She further added, “You had me transfixed and Iwas transported right by your side from Norway to India! Congratulations to the run team for this incredible film.(PS – I am convinced there’s nothing my fav Jim Sarab can’t do – an absolute chameleon).” Alia and Jim worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
In the movie Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway Rani Mukherjee has played the lead role. The movie depicts the story a mother battling for her kids. The film is based on Sagarika Bhattacharya’s book The Journey of a Mother. The movie also includes some big name of Bollywood such as Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattachary.
