Xiaomi successfully manages more than one smartphone brands under its name. The sub-brands include Redmi and Mi, and they both have been delivering some of the best products with high-tech features. However, the latter is subjected to target elite consumers as former offers its products at quite reasonable price.

In order to learn about its differences, we analyzed Redmi K50i and Mi 10T, both of which supports 5G.

Body

Redmi K50i has dimensions of 163.6 x 74.3 x 8.9 mm that weighs 200 grams. The phone supports dual Nano-SIM.

Mi 10T has dimensions of 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.3 mm that weighs 216 grams. The phone is built with aluminum frame and gorilla glass 5 in its front and back. It supports dual Nano-SIM.

Display

Redmi K50i employs technology of FFS LCD for display with refreshing speed of 144 Hz and brightness ranging from 550 nits to 650 nits. The display size is 6.6 inches with 85.1% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and protection is corning gorilla glass 5.

Mi 10T employs IPS LCD technology for display with refreshing speed of 144 Hz and brightness ranging from 500 nits to 650 nits. The display size is 6.67 inches with 85.2% screen-to-body. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and protection is corning gorilla glass 5.

Camera

Redmi K50i has three main camera modules which include 64 MP f/1.9 (wide), 8 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (macro), with LED flash, HDR, and panorama features. The video quality is 4K @ 30 frames per second (fps), 1080p @ 30/60 fps. The selfie camera is 16 MP f/2.5 (wide) with video quality of 1080p @ 30 fps.

Mi 10T has three main cameras – 64 MP f/1.9 (wide), 13 MP f/2.4 (ultrawide), 5 MP f/2.4 (macro), with LED flash, HDR, and panorama features. The video quality is 8K @ 30 fps, 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30/60/120/240/960 fps. The selfie camera is 20 MP f/2.2 (wide) with HDR feature. The video quality is 1080p @ 30 fps, 720p @ 120 fps.

Platform

Redmi K50i supports Android 12 operating system, upgradable to Android 13. The chipset is Mediatek Dimensity 8100 and octa-core CPU of 4×2.85 GHz.

Mi 10T has Android 10 operating system, which can be upgraded to Android 11. The chipset is Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 5G. The CPU is octa-core (1×2.84 GHz).

Memory

Redmi K50i has 8 GB RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. The former is also available with 6 GB RAM. The model do not allow expanding the storage space.

Mi 10T has internal storage of 128 GB with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. The phone do not allow increasing the memory space.

Battery

Redmi K50i has rather powerful battery life of lithium polymer 5080 mAh. The non-removable battery is expected to be 50% charged within 15 minutes and fully charged in 46 minutes with 67W wired charging.

Mi 10T has lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable battery supports 33W wired charging.
