Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has commented on the recent sacking of Graham Potter by Chelsea, stating that the club has changed significantly since he last worked there.
Tuchel, who coached the Chelsea squad from January 2021 to May 2021, had a brief stint with the London club before moving to Bayern Munich. Speaking to reporters during a press conference, Tuchel expressed his sympathy for Potter and acknowledged the challenges that come with managing a club like Chelsea. “The club has changed a lot since I was there,” said Tuchel as reported by Goal.
Potter was sacked by Chelsea following a string of disappointing results, including defeats to Liverpool and other teams in the Premier League and a 4-1 loss to Ajax in the Champions League. Despite the setback, Tuchel believes that Potter is a talented manager who will continue to have success in his career.
Tuchel himself has enjoyed a successful start to his tenure at Bayern Munich, leading the team to the top of the Bundesliga table.
