It has been reported that Angel di Maria has approved a new Juventus contract. In just his first season at the club, the attacker has shown a great deal of promise.
One of Juventus’ key players, Di Maria, is responsible for the team’s success in the Europa League, and the attacker wishes to remain at the club. Several clubs would be willing to remove him because he guarantees good performance. However, Juventus remained firm in their desire to retain him. In the summer of last year, the 35-year-old Argentinian winger joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer, ending seven years with Paris Saint-Germain. His contract with the club is for one year.
Di Maria’s Turin tenure started slowly. However, following his World Cup victory against Argentina, he excelled at Juventus. During his nine appearances in Serie A in 2023, he scored three goals and provided three assists. Di Maria wanted to remain with Juventus for another year. He has expressed willingness to sign an extended contract. The next round of negotiations will take place in April.
