Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma have been dominating batsmen throughout. The two cricketers continue to stand No.1 and No.2 respectively in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen. In bowling rankings, India only has Jasprit Bumrah in the top 10 who holds number two place.

Kohli marks the top with a score of 871 points, and Sharma(855) stands next. Sharma is followed by Babar Azam(829), Ross Taylor, and Faf du Plessis at 3,4 and 5 respectively while David Warner is at 6.Bumrahwith(719) continued to retain the second position in the bowler’s list, of which New Zealand’s Trent Boult tops the chart.

Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie improves four spots to 42nd position post 113-run innings against England at the final match held at Southampton. His deputy Paul Stirling got better with one slot making it to the 26th in the rankings.

England earned 20 points after the series win in ICC men’s World Cup Super League, which shall see 13 teams compete for direct qualifying places in the next World Cup in 2023 which shall be held in India. Ireland currently holds 10 points.

India and seven other teams will directly qualify for the World Cup with the remaining two getting a second chance through a Qualifier.
