After a disappointing run of results, Crystal Palace made the decision to part ways with their manager Patrick Vieira on Friday evening, 17th March. As a result, speculation has mounted about who could take over the reins at the Selhurst Park.

One name that has been mentioned in the media is Roy Hodgson, who previously managed the club from 2017 to 2021. Hodgson, who is 74 years old, had an impressive spell at Palace, guiding them to their highest-ever Premier League finish of 11th place in the 2019-2020 season.

Hodgson is an experienced manager who has coached some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Inter Milan, Liverpool, and Fulham. He also has a wealth of international experience, having managed the national teams of Switzerland, Finland, the United Arab Emirates, and most recently, England.

Hodgson’s return to Palace could provide some much-needed stability to the club, which has struggled for consistency this season. The team hasn’t won a single of their last eleven Premier League matches and is currently in danger of relegation.
