After Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father KK Singh filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and five others, Bihar Police took the matter into their hand. A team of four police officers reached Mumbai to work in the investigation.

In the new development, Bihar IPS officer who reached Mumbai to be the part of the investigation was ‘forcibly quarantined’, according to the Bihar Police Chief. Bihar’s director general of police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey took to Twitter on Sunday to talk about the same. IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari, reached the city earlier that day.

Talking about being quarantined, Pandey mentioned that the officer was not provided proper accommodation. He was staying in Guest House in Goregaon.

Pandey expressed his concern about the case and didn’t want it to turn into Maharashtra vs Bihar battle. “I am saying a simple thing that one should look at the sentiments of the country’s people. People say that he was a vibrant, enthusiastic and successful young man. They feel there is some kind of mystery if a man who had money and fame hangs himself,” he had said in an interview to a Hindi television news channel on Saturday.

Rhea and five others have been booked under the charges of abetting the suicide, embezzlement, cheating, and conspiracy under Sections 340, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306 of the IPC. Sushant’s father made major allegations including mishandling of finances, overdose of medicine as well as keeping the actor away from his family.

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14. Since then, Mumbai Police has questioned around 40 people including those from Rajput’s family, his cook and people from the film industry that include filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Aditya Chopra, film critic Rajeev Masand, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
