South African opener Laura Wolvaardt have turned the tables for her team as she breaks the Australian dominance within a few minutes.

Australia started off well and after successfully bagging three quick wickets, the South African team was under the “run-rate” pressure.

Laura took charge and her continuous firework of sixes and four changed the game completely.

Laura successfully lifted her bat with an epic fifty and continues to smash as she brings the dream closer.

The Proteas made history when they became the first South African team (men’s or women’s) to reach a World Cup final in any format. They now have the opportunity to become the most famous team in the country. Meanwhile, Australia are habitual of playing these finals. This is their seventh final in eight tries, and Meg Lanning’s team is vying for their sixth T20 title.
