Serie A champion side Juventus FC were against Nantes in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night, 16th February at Turin Stadium (Juventus’ home side). Juventus faced a disappointing draw against Nantes in the first leg tie. The game ended with a scoreline of 1-1 which wasn’t expected from the Allegri’s men.

Allegri’s men had to win the Europa League if they want to play in the UEFA Champions League or any other European leagues as they faced a points deduction due to some misconduct. If they couldn’t manage to win the trophy (UEFA Europa League 2022/23), then it will be very difficult for them to play in the European competition next season.

Dusan Vlahovic scored a goal in just the 13th minute of the game which provided a lead to the Series A side but Nantes equalised it in the second half to make it 1-1.

Both the teams will meet each other next week at Nantes’ home ground for the second leg tie.
