Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host largest online hackathon on 1st August, starting from 7pm through a video conference. This was informed by Ramesh Pokhriyal,Union HRD Minister.
During the grand finale 10,000 students will solve 243 problems from department of government and Industries.
Smart India Hackathon is organised in order to find out new innovativns and technologies which can be used to solve the present problems in society.It is a non stop digital development program,where problems are posed infromt of the students so that they can suggest innovative solutions of it.
There will be approx 10,000 students qho will solve 243 problems. Each problem statement will carry prize money of Rs.1,00,000.
The student innovative theme will have three winners.
This Hackathon is being orgainesd by Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Persistent Systems and i4c. This is the fourth edition of Hackathon.
