Team India has managed to whitewash the recently concluded Test series against Bangladesh.
It all started with Bangladesh’s dominating 227 runs in the first innings where Mominul’s 84-runs knock survived India’s bowling attack blow.
India then managed to score 310 runs but Taijul Islam made his recognition after sending the top 3 back to the pavilion. It was Pant-Iyer’s partnership which counter-attacked the hosts to score beyond 300 runs.
Coming back to bat, Bangladesh managed to score only 231 runs as Axar Patel and Ashwin together took 5 wickets to show a spinning dominance.
It was all about the fourth innings which jinxed the heartbeat of the Indian fans where India needed only 145 runs and the Bangladeshi bowlers managed to take a u-turn in between as India witnessed an embarrassing score of 74-7 where Mehidy Hasan Miraz took a five-fer.
The ultimate comeback was witnessed through the determination of Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer as India managed to win the match by 3 wickets and whitewash the series after this incredible victory.
