South African batsman Rilee Rossouw goes unsold in the auction. Rilee was one of the top potential players with a base price of INR 2 crore, but unfortunately, he did not receive any bids.
The left-handed batsman has been a key player for the Proteas, scoring two centuries in T20s in October. In a T20 match against India, the 33-year-old destroyed the Indian attack in Indore to give the Proteas a consolation win. He also scored 109 against Bangladesh in a T20 World Cup group match.
Rilee has been in high demand on the T20 franchise circuit, but he was unable to break into the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2014 and 2015, returning unsold ahead of this year’s season.
