England’s striker Harry Kane is now the joint top-goalscorer for England after he scored a goal in the quarter-final game against France. The FIFA World Cup 2022 is in its final stage and England is no longer in the competition as they got defeated by the defending champions (France’s national football team) by 2-1 on Saturday night.
England’s forward Harry Kane has now equaled the goal tally of the former England striker Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane have 53 goals for England and the Tottenham Hotspur forward just needs a single goal to become the top goalscorer for England national team.
Despite this achievement from Kane, he was very emotional after the quarter-final game of the FIFA World Cup 2022 against France as they were knocked out by them. Harry Kane had a chance to become the top scorer in this match itself as he missed a penalty in the 85th minute when England had a chance to equalize the scoreline.
