India’s home schedule for the year 2023 has been revealed in a recent post shared by BCCI officials, one of which is the crucial Test series against Australia.
The eagerly awaited India-Australia Test series will begin on February 9 in Nagpur, according to the BCCI. The final Border-Gavaskar test series, which will be expanded to five games after a three-day break, will be played in Delhi (February 17–21). The teams will have a week off before the third Test in Dharamsala (March 1–5). After that, the turnaround time before the final Test in Ahmedabad will be shorter (March 9-13). Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in Mumbai (March 17), Visakhapatnam (March 19), and Chennai (March 22) will wrap up Australia’s tour of India and prepare fans for the IPL’s upcoming season.
