On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Gir Somnath district as part of his active campaigning for his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Gujarat election.

PM Modi urged people to give the BJP victories in every election place. After praying at the renowned Somnath Temple, the prime minister addressed a gathering in Veraval town and exhorted the populace to vote in record numbers and shatter all past records.

The chairman of the Somnath trust is also the prime minister.

In Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district, where the Assembly elections are slated to take place in two phases on December 1 and 5, PM Modi was campaigning for four BJP candidates.

“I want you to make sure the BJP wins each and every booth here. Will you do it for me? This time, my focus is to win in all the polling booths. If you help me in achieving this, these four BJP candidates will automatically reach the Assembly,” PM Modi said.

The PM will speak at four rallies on Sunday in the Saurashtra area. Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli, and Botad have finalised their locations.

In these Saurashtra assembly districts, the BJP, incidentally, failed to win a single seat in the most recent general elections.
Despite winning the state elections, the BJP was unable to pierce this Congress-voting stronghold.

PM Modi will hold three rallies on November 22 in Surendranagar, Bharuch, and Navsari.

The prime minister spoke at a rally in south Gujarat’s Valsad district yesterday. Invoking Gujarati pride, he urged the populace to be cautious of individuals who disparage the state and declared that they should not be allowed to live there.

Voting for 89 of Gujarat’s 182 Assembly seats will take place on December 1 and for the remaining 93 seats on December 5. On December 8, it will be decided how to count the votes.

As the state’s longest-serving chief minister, Narendra Modi has led the BJP party to power in Gujarat for the past 27 years.

This time, the party led by CR Patil, Amit Shah, and Narendra Modi hopes to win more than 140 seats.

Due to the Patidar movement’s backing, the Congress was able to win 28 seats in the 2017 assembly elections. In contrast, the Bharatiya Janata Party only has 19 MLAs in this state, down from 30 in 2012.
