Famous author Chetan Bhagat has given a big statement. He has said that producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has “drove him to suicide” and “bullied” him. He meant to direct the Tweet to film critic, Anupama Chopra who is also Vidhu’s wife.
He said that Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie, ‘Dil Bechara’ should not be reviewed or spoken negatively about. He indirectly pointed at Anupama Chopra and said: “You have already ruined enough lives.”
Sushant's last film releases this week. I want to tell the snob and elitist critics right now, write sensibly. Don't act oversmart. Don't write rubbish. Be fair and sensible. Don't try your dirty tricks. You have ruined enough lives. Now stop. We'll be watching.

Anupama also took to her Twitter account and said: “Each time you think the discourse can’t get lower, it does.”

This fired Chetan Bhagat and he wrote a Tweet instantly without a filter. He revealed that Vidhu Vinod Chopra had publicly bullied him and didn’t give him his due credit for the film ‘3 Idiots.’ He also said that Vidhu took the awards for the best story when it was Chetan’s story originally.
Ma'am, when your husband publicly bullied me, shamelessly collected all the best story awards, tried denying me credit for my story and drove me close to suicide, and you just watched, where was your discourse? https://t.co/CeVDT2oq47

Taking the situation in hand, Kangana Ranaut’s team reposted this tweet as she is pointing out at all injustices in the industry after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide.
After the constant back and forth, Anupama said that she is not responsible for anything that her husband does. She asked everyone to not ask her what her husband should be answering.
In 2009, ‘3 Idiots’ became a blockbuster and won several awards. The movie was based on Chetan Bhagat’s book ‘Five Point Someone.’ However, after the success, Chetan believed he wasn’t given the due credit and decided to end his terms with the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
