The former White House strategist, Steve Bannon, alleged that the Trump administration has prepared a “war plan” for China. He quoted that the administration, first intends to “confront” and then “take down” the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
“You’re seeing an integrated war plan put together to confront first and then take down the Chinese Communist Party, to call their bluff”, he stated.
Bannon, in his statement, elucidated the “war plan” that the administration has prepared. He claimed that supporting allies in India on the borders of the “Chinese-occupied Tibet” is imperative to this plan. He also told Fox News, in his interview, about the officials that are involved in a council like this. He called them the “four horsemen of the apocalypse”.
These officials include, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Christopher A. Wray, the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Attorney General William Barr. According to Bannon, these four officials, along with President Trump, have laid down the “war plan” for China.
“There four individuals laid out an integrated and coherent war plan to confront the Chinese Communist Party on technological and information war, and economic war”, stated Bannon in his interview. He also included in the plan, the US movement in the South China sea and its aim to support Indian allies in the “Chinese occupied Tibet”.
It is imperative to note that this statement by the former strategist comes one same day when United States and India conducted a passing exercise through the Malacca strait.
He also stated that he would like the secretary of Treasury to come onboard with this “team” and the Treasury “to start to drop the hammer”. While calling the plan coherent, he further added that “I think you have just got to get that same level of coherence on the Chinese virus that’s here, the CCP virus that has come to the United States”.
