Indian cricket team have been qualified for the semifinals of the T20 World Cup 2022 after South Africa got a shocking defeat against Netherlands on Sunday, 6 November. Netherlands defeated South Africa who was one of the favourites to win the tournament this year by 13 runs.
This was a complete shock for the South African fans as this defeat gave a chance to Bangladesh and Pakistan who are in the same group to play a virtual quarter-final. Indian cricket team will be playing their last Super 12 game today against Zimbabwe. There will be some milestones that the Indian players can achieve in this game.
Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli who is the man in form in this tournament is only 68 runs away from completing 4000 runs in Men’s T20 International. Not only him but Suryakumar Yadav is also very close to becoming the only second player to complete 1000 runs in T20Is in one calendar year.
Suryakumar Yadav is just 35 runs behind this milestone and could complete it in today’s game against Zimbabwe which will be played at 1:30 PM (IST) at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Indian cricket team will be looking to top the table with a win against Zimbabwe.
