Deepika Padukone is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood. She recently announced her next with South-star Prabhas. She also has Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ and Shakun Batra’s next with Dharma Productions.
However, there’s believed to be more, she is expected to make another announcement in August.
According to Pinkvilla, Deepika has booked dates for a YRF film which will be opposite Shah Rukh Khan. This film will be directed by Siddharth Anand who last directed ‘War.’
YRF has been in talks with DP for many months, however, she hasn’t yet signed the contract. After she revises her dates for her previous commitments, she will give her final word to YRF. Reportedly, she really liked the script as it has a powerful role for her. This will be SRK and Deepika’s third collaboration after ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Happy New Year.’
Pre-COVID-19 the YRF team planned to have a big event for the announcement on Yash Chopra’s birthday. In the event, all the big films would have been announced together as it would also mark 50 years of the YRF banner.
