Rajeev Sen will be making his acting debut with Vivek Oberoi’s production, Iti-Can You Solve Your Own Murder. The news came out days after Sushmita Sen made a comeback with her OTT drama series ‘Aarya’.
Rajeev Sen posted the first look on his Instagram handle. The poster looks mysterious and has a dark feel. It shows Rajeev Sen sitting in a car amid dark surroundings. Rajeev Sen will be seen in a negative role in this murder mystery.
The caption read, “Life is a first impression. You get one shot at it. Make it everlasting …Presenting #rohitvardhan to all of you @visalmisra @ikussum @keyurpandya19 @sanjeetyermal @d_reshabh @vivekoberoi.”
The makers are promoting Iti as the story of a woman who is in a race against time to solve her murder, thus the tagline ‘Can you solve your own murder’. The Vivek Oberoi’s production is expected to go on floors by September-October 2020 and release will be likely in the first quarter of 2021. Currently, the makers are working on pre-shoots.
Rajeev considers his sister, Sushmita to be an inspiration to him, “My sister’s advice has always been simple but effective. She has told me to focus on my goals, keep working on my craft and keep challenging myself,” Rajeev said.
Earlier, while talking about his debut project, Rajeev said that he wants the audience to not just see his performance, but also feel and experience his role through him. “I’m lucky to have Vishal sir as my director, who’s been guiding me really well through the preparations. I’m very grateful to Prerna for giving me a wonderful break. I’m also looking forward to working with Vivek Oberoi,” he added.
Rajeev further revealed that he has watched Primal Fear for inspiration for his upcoming role. Ajay Devgn’s Deewangi also helped the model turned actor in understanding his character deeply, as the portrayal of Ajay Devgn switching from a soft-spoken man to a dark character made it interesting.
