Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a video message to the All India Conference of Law Ministers and Law Secretaries, which is being held at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat’s Narmada area.

According to a government announcement, the inaugural session will begin at 10:30 am.

The Ministry of Law and Justice is hosting the two-day conference with the aim of giving decision-makers a single forum to debate issues relevant to the Indian legal and judicial system, it said.

According to the press release, the conference will provide an opportunity for the states and Union Territories to exchange fresh ideas, share their best practises, and strengthen their mutual cooperation.

Alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, modernising the entire legal system, doing away with outdated laws, enhancing access to justice, speeding up case resolution, bringing uniformity to state bill proposals for better center-state coordination, and strengthening state legal systems are just a few of the issues that will be discussed at the conference.
