Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first scoring 129/5 in the first innings in the 11th game of ICC Women’s Asia Cup 2022.

Debutant Farisha Trisna playing for Bangladesh crippled down the Malaysian top order after striking a hat trick in the final over of the power play.

Trisna departed Malaysian skipper Winifred Duraisingam (5) and both Max Elysa and Mahirah Ismail for a golden duck. Her excellent bowling skills reduced the Malaysian side to a low score of 13/3 by the end of the power play.

The debutant bowled her first T20I spell giving away just 12 runs and taking three crucial wickets with a stunning economy rate of just 3 runs per over.
