In the recent update on Sushant Singh Rajput‘s suicide case, filmmaker Aditya Chopra was called in for a statement. Bandra Police recorded his statement at Versova Station. Police said that Mr Chopra was in the station for more than four hours.
Over 30 people have been interrogated till now. Mumbai Police is working on every possible angle including professional rivalry, apart from clinical depression. Sushant’s family members, close friends and some celebrities have been interrogated.
On Friday night, Police called Sushant’s psychiatrist Dr Kersi Chavda to know about the actor’s medical history. It was known that the actor was consulting the doctor since January for mental health issues.
Recently, Rhea Chakraborty took to her social media to talk about her relationship with the actor. She even requested Home Minister Amit Shah to probe CBI inquiry. She wants to know what prompted Sushant to take such a step.
However, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh declined the involvement of CBI in the case. He said, “There was no need to give the case to the CBI. Our police officials are capable and doing the inquiry in right way. We are also examining the angle of business rivalry.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14. His death has created a lot of controversy in the industry. Netizens have been blaming the nepotism for the actor’s death.
